German-Korean Cooperation Forum on Design, 24 June 2008 
On 24 June 2008, the Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen, together with the Seoul Design Center, will host the second German-Korean Cooperation Forum on Design at the red dot design museum. Interested designers and entrepreneurs will have the chance to establish interesting contacts and exchange views with a delegation from Korea. The main topic will be “Life Science Design”, an increasingly relevant and important field in both Germany and Korea due to similar demographic developments in both industrial nations. Keynote speaker Markus Wild, WILDDESIGN medical, and other experts will present their ideas and views on the topic.
From Korea, Professor Soon-In Lee, President of the Seoul Design Center, will present the City of Seoul which was recently named World Design Capital 2010. Professor Lee will share some of Seoul’s plans to increase the creative energies of its design industry leading up to 2010 and beyond.
